Church Partnership
Christian Prison Resourcing (CPR) would not exist without the faithful support of local churches.
Church partnership
Is your church ready to help bring the gospel into prisons and walk alongside former detainees as they resettle into gospel-centered communities?
A Gospel mission -in partnership with the Church
“Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering”
Hebrews 13:3
CPR is backed by churches of all sizes across the UK. Yet, if we are to reach more prisons with the good news of Jesus Christ and help more former detainees transition into vibrant church communities, we need even more churches to understand, pray, and actively partner with us.
Ways your church can get involved
Pray

Prayer is the foundation of all we do.
The most powerful way your church can support our mission is through committed, informed prayer. Pray for our associates as they enter prisons, for the inmates they meet, and that the Gospel remains central in everything we teach and do.
Send associates

Do you have evangelists, Bible teachers, or disciplers in your congregation—whether they’re young Joshuas or seasoned Calebs?
CPR offers a well-supported pathway into prison ministry for those called to serve. We provide clear oversight, ongoing support, and theological guidance for each associate placed.
Give

Join hundreds of churches across the UK that contribute financially to CPR’s work. Every donation directly supports Gospel ministry—through resources, training, and chaplaincy.

A two-way partnership
We believe ministry is most fruitful when it’s done with the local church, not apart from it. That’s why we never accept an associate into prison ministry without the blessing of their church leadership.
Should any pastoral concerns arise, we actively work with the sending church to care for the associate and uphold gospel integrity.
