Organisation – Conflict of interest policy

The Christian Prison Resourcing Conflict of Interest Policy ensures integrity in decision-making by identifying and managing potential conflicts among trustees. It requires immediate disclosure of any personal or external interests that could influence decisions. Conflicted trustees must not participate in related discussions or votes unless unanimously permitted by the board. A Register of Interests must be completed upon appointment and updated annually or as changes occur. The policy promotes transparency, protects the charity’s reputation, and maintains stakeholder trust. All disclosures and actions are documented in meeting minutes. This policy was formally adopted by the trustees on 4 December 2023.
